A DIFFERENCE ART PROJECT
Odoygiant International Art Project
A Virtual Contemporary Art Project 2008

A way to be an artist is so simple. Here it is all that procedures.
1.We have some pictures on our website, it is like a flyer which is designed by odoygiant, and all members have to take one of the flyers from the site.
2.Download the flyer, and save on your computer.
3.Please copy the flyer on your printer, not only a piece of paper but also you want to copy it. We are really proud if you copy it savely, so do not to break that papers.
4.You have to take the flyer on the place do you want it. Take a picture with your camera and pose your expression happily.
5.Then you have to post those pictures on our website.
6.If all of the procedures has been finished, save it and you might wait the moderator’s response for accepting it.

Hopefully we will get many responses from all clients, please look at the sample, and proudly we will also presentate all of the member’s photos our exhibiton.

2.HAPPENING ART PROJECT
The Exhibition will be started at YPK Hall Jl. Naripan 7-9 Bandung, July 4th 2008 (still in confirmation).
We will also make all critics to be a lux book, and show it on that exhibition.

3. A BACKGROUND OF PROJECT
Interesting to Prof. Joseph Stiglitz’s thought on Making Globalization Work, who won a Nobel Prize winner in Economy, we truely believe that a democratization, which lead by United States and European Union, is not good for developing the world to be a good system. So we learn that a best point is not for to be a unity thinking which is the capitalizm’s goal.

It is same as in the art design side, we do not have to be one likes a democratization way but we want to explore ourselves with our capacities and imaginations. So, ANA (Art Network Asia) gives a good opportunity for the talented artists all around South East Asia to make their experiments. We have known that many big countries had link like Balkan Epic, Berlinbiennale, Tate Internationale Council, and many others, which they do not to suppose many artist from developed countries.

We always imagine to be same as the artists in United States and European Union. In our developed country, we get some difficulties when we have to start and explore our imagination. Because our country is like a commander in war’s civil, who have a strong hand to stop our imagination. So we are being an alien in our own land and our expressions will be ended by our goverment. And the reason is the goverment becomes an enemy for the artists.

In that reality, we have to manage our thinking and expression in our website. Our idea comes from Prof. Nakamura, who said that a goal is only get by a person whom wants to explore their capabilities. We believe with this project, our imagination is given much influences to another ones.

So far, so obvious.
More interestingly, Odoygiant can track the trend of a art of brand’s popularity, getting an early warning on a surge of interest in a worldof art that could be just about to break into the mainstream, for instance.Odoygiant users, mostly best artist, are the trend-setters, making this a particularly powerful tool.

Centre Culturel Francais de Bandung. Kayaknya sekitar 10 tahun mereka gak
ketemu sampai sampai pendiri Komunitas Kesenian Bawah Tanah GERBONG ini
